Welcome! We are located in Erie, Pa. We meet the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month, September through April. In May, we have a Grand Finale Competition and an Awards Picnic. YOU MUST PAY DUES TO BE A MEMBER OF THE ERIE PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB. You must be a member of the club to enter into our monthly competition.
Our meeting space is in the Lake Erie Plaza, 2319 West 38th St. Erie Pa 16506 The Plaza is on south side of the street between Pittsburgh Ave and Zuck Rd. The large parking lot is well lit. The building is easily accessible to those with disabilities. The Lake Erie Plaza is easily reached from the south, via I-79 using the Kearsarge exit or accessible from the east or north side of Erie, using the W 26th St exit and then turning south on Zuck Rd. All meetings start at 6:30 PM unless otherwise specified.

TO JOIN THE CLUB, 3 WAYS TO PAY. (1) Mail check (Payable to Erie Photography Club) to Membership - Adam Bennett, 4422 Cherry Street, Erie PA 16509. Include name, address, phone number and email address (email required). (2) Pay by PAYPAL or CREDIT CARD. Under ORGANIZATION > PAYPAL BUTTON and follow the instructions. (3) Attend a meeting and pay by cash or check. For new members, we must have an email address and a phone number. If mailing your dues, please send an email to Geri Olszewski at geriols914@gmail.com to let her know you have renewed so she may update the membership list.
Cost-- $30 - first time members, $40 - returning members, $70 for household, $60 for first time households.
Competitions include a General and an Assigned Subject competition. Only paid members may enter a competition.

2022/2023 MEETING SCHEDULE - We plan to return to in-person meetings this year, but of course will abide by any state regulations that are in effect at the time.
Sept.10 ~(17) Program meeting: Field trip - Saturday Sept. 10 (Rain Date Saturday Sept. 17)- Gather at Perry Square west near Peach St, at 4pm for a self guided walking tour of Erie's Millionaire's Row. You will receive a free historical guide, compliments of the Hagen History Center, to the elegant mansions along several blocks of West 6th street.

Oct. 8 Program meeting: Field Trip Saturday Oct. 8. Meet at 3:00pm for a Fall Foliage outing to Port Farms 2055 Stone Quarry Rd Waterford PA.
Oct. 25 Competition meeting: Assigned subject - "Looking up or looking down" Images must be submitted by Tuesday, October 18, 2022, 11:59 pm Judge-Scott Simons
Nov. 8 Program meeting: Mr. Jeff Sherry, Museum Educator at the Hagen History Center, will present images for us to discern and discuss what was important in story telling and composition as detailed by the original photographer who made these historical images.

Jan. 10 6:30 Program meeting: Mr. Mark Courson will present an intriguing "bird's eye" view in his drone photography. He will answer questions regarding the legalities, equipment and many practical and creative uses of drones that are present in our ever changing world.

Feb. 13 5:45 Program meeting: Field Trip- Monday, Feb. 13, to the Warner Theatre 811 State St. We will gather at 5:45pm and have two hours, from 6pm until 8pm, to photograph the magnificent Warner Theater inside and out.

March 14 Meeting cancelled due to weather. Program will be the April 11th meeting. Program meeting: Mr. Paul Gibbens will teach us about night photography, the necessary equipment, set up and techniques.
